In the beauty industry, packaging is 80% of the sale. Your face cream or beard oil might be a miracle formula, but if the label peels off or the ink smears after one week in a steamy bathroom, your brand loses credibility.
At StickerForge, we specialize in high-performance cosmetic packaging. Whether you are packaging a high-end serum or a daily body wash, we have the material science to back up your design.
Many skincare products contain essential oils, alcohol, or acids (like Salicylic Acid). These ingredients are "solvents"—they eat through standard glue and ink.
The Solution: You need Polypropylene (BOPP) with a Lamination Layer.
We apply a clear protective film over the print. This creates an impenetrable shield. You can spill pure tea tree oil on our labels, wipe it off, and the design remains pristine. Check out our full range of
Industry Labels to see material options.
Are you labeling a lotion tube or a shampoo bottle that gets squeezed?
The Mistake: Using a stiff Paper or Standard BOPP label. When the customer squeezes the tube, the bottle flexes, but the label doesn't. The result? Permanent wrinkles and lifting edges.
The Fix: Ask for our Polyethylene (PE) Flow-able Material.
PE is a softer plastic that stretches and moves with the container. It returns to its original shape without creasing. *Always mention "Squeezable Container" when you request a quote!*
The "No-Label Look" (transparent sticker on a glass dropper) is very popular for luxury serums. But there is a trap.
The Problem: Standard printer ink is semi-transparent. If you print a yellow logo on a dark amber bottle, the yellow will disappear and look muddy.
The Solution (White Underprinting):
We print a layer of Solid White Ink behind your color design. This makes your logo "pop" and look opaque, even on dark glass. When sending your file, tell us: "Please use white ink backup for the logo."
Many cosmetic jars are wider at the top than the bottom (like a yogurt cup).
You cannot put a rectangular label on a tapered jar. It will curve upwards (the "smile effect") and crease.
How to check: Place a ruler against the side of your jar. If there is a gap, it is tapered. You will need a specialized "Arc Shape" (Banana Shape) label design to compensate. Our design team can help you calculate the correct arc!
